Accident involving six tourists and one driver of a safari vehicle which fell on a large cliff in the area of Troodos.
According to information, the six tourists from Paphos, along with the driver of the vehicle, set off for an excursion to Troodos. At some point on the road, which was uphill and was following a turn, due to slippery conditions, the vehicle overturned, found itself in the void and ended up on a large tree trunk. It should be noted that there was a strong hailstorm in the area.
After the fall, the tourists managed to get out of the vehicle with minor injuries, but the driver was trapped, resulting in the need for the intervention of the fire brigade to extricate him.
He was then taken to hospital for tests.
