An operation has been underway since the morning to retrieve dogs that are in a pit, near a livestock farm in the area of Kalo Chorio, Larnaca.
EMAK in cooperation with the Police and the Game Service, set up an operation to retrieve the animals, which are dead and it is unknown how they ended up in the pit.
It is reportedly not excluded that the animals were abused before being thrown into the deep pit, after traces of blood were found in the area. For this reason, the contribution of the Police was requested.
It is noted that the owner of a livestock farm had reported to the Police in the previous days that stray dogs attacked animals on his farm.
