MOST VACCINATION CENTRES TO OPERATE ON SATURDAYS 26 November & 3 December

Vaccination centres in all provinces will also operate on Saturdays, November 26 and December 3, 2022, from 8:30am to 12:30am (excluding vaccination centres in Kyperounta and Polis Chrysochous).

According to the announcement of the Ministry of Health, as of Saturday, November 26, 2022, the updated Moderna vaccine covering sub-variants BA.4 and BA.5 of the Omicron variant will be available at vaccination centres.

It is recalled that:

a) A booster dose of vaccine is recommended to people aged 12 years and over, provided that the period of five (5) months has elapsed since the last dose of vaccine.

  • Beneficiaries will be able to be served through the walk-in vaccination centers operating in all provinces.
  • Vaccination with a booster dose of vaccine is recommended after3 months from the 1STtpositive test against COVID-19.
  • In order to carry out vaccination, an identification document (identity card, passport) and a vaccination card must be presented.
  • Regarding the vaccination of persons under the age of 18, the Written Consent Form of parents / guardians signed by both parents, where applicable, is required. Greek or English
Below is schedule in Greek but this does not include mention of Saturdays, nor of vaccines available on the Saturday.  This could be Moderna only but it is not clear.   Update follows when available.  Otherwise, please check with the vaccination centre before you go.
