Autumn conditions, with mild phenomena and a drop in temperature, brings a low pressure system that affects Cyprus. Local rains and thunderstorms will intensify tonight and peak tomorrow, with temperatures dropping to normal levels for the season.
As the director of the Department of Meteorology, Kleanthis Nikolaidis, told "F", these are rains of a very local nature and / or a thunderstorm. He noted, however, that November is only 32% of normal rain. Due to the system that affects us and the increased clouds, a drop of up to two degrees in temperature is expected, which will fluctuate normally. "But on Friday a slight rise is predicted," he said.
Today, the weather will initially be clear, while in the south there will be temporarily increased clouds. During the day the clouds will increase, while isolated rains and even thunderstorms are expected, mainly west and north.
Tomorrow, initially, isolated rain or even thunderstorms are expected, mainly on the coast, while later isolated rains are expected to occur in the mountains and possibly in parts of the interior. The temperature will drop slightly, to be close to and slightly above the average climatic values. On Thursday and Friday, similar phenomena are predicted, while gradually there will be a slight rise in temperature.
