The suspension of the three-hour work stoppage, which was scheduled for next Thursday, November 17, was decided by the Board of Directors of the Pancyprian Guild of Government Doctors, a decision welcomed by the Ministry of Health.
As the Ministry states in an announcement, it also applauds the Medical and Clinical Directors Branch of PASYDY for the stance it took towards participating in a dialogue to resolve all the issues recorded in order to ensure the proper functioning of the SHSO hospitals.
It is the firm belief of the Ministry of Health that through constructive dialogue and demonstration of goodwill, all problems can be solved.
Also, the Ministry of Health welcomes the immediate response of the Attorney General and Deputy Attorney General to arrange a meeting.
