3,625 NEW CASES, 10 DEATHS [6 this week] - Week ending 10 November

The Ministry of Health announced 10 deaths from Covid-19, of which 6 in the week to which the announcement relates.

 A total of 72,556 diagnostic tests were performed, of which 3,625 new cases were identified, while the positivity rate in all tests is located at 5%.

According to the announcement, the deaths concern:

• Woman, aged 77, who passed away on 09/05/2021

• Man, aged 84, who passed away on 12/08/2021

• Man, aged 91, who passed away on 14/08/2021

• Man, aged 92, who passed away on 03/11/2022

• Man, aged 86, who passed away on 05/11/2022

• Man, aged 83, who passed away on 05/11/2022

• Man, aged 68, who passed away on 05/11/2022

• Man, aged 86, who passed away on 07/11/2022

• Woman, aged 85, who passed away on 07/11/2022

• Man, aged 84, who passed away on 09/11/2022

- Total number of deaths with COVID-19 as the ultimate cause: 1,210.

- 69 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized in shsypy hospitals

- 9 in serious condition (ICU: 0 off ventilator/2 intubated, MAF: 7)

- 3 patients who ceased to be infectious continue to be hospitalized by intubation due to COVID in an Intensive Care Unit.

Diagnostic tests:

- A total of 72,556 diagnostic tests were performed

- 3,625 new cases were detected (total cases 606,287).

- Positivity rate in all tests 5%

Total number of molecular tests (PCR):

- 2,297 molecular tests were performed

- 186 positive cases occurred

- Positivity rate 8.1%

Total number of rapid antigen tests (Rapid Test):

- 70,259 rapid antigen tests were performed

- 3,439 positive cases occurred

- Positivity rate 4.89%

Private initiative:

- 1,837 molecular tests were performed, 116 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 6.31%)

- 44,123 rapid antigen tests were performed, 3,186 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 7.22%)

Through the programs of the Ministry of Health, 26,136 rapid antigen tests were carried out. 253 positive cases were identified.

- Sampling points: 13,833 rapid tests identified 138 positive cases (positivity rate 1%)

Education

- Primary Education: 1,306 rapid antigen tests, 4 positive cases identified (positivity rate 0.31%)

- Secondary Education: 1,327 rapid tests identified 2 positive cases (positivity rate 0.15%)

Other

- National Guard: 203 rapid antigen tests were performed and 6 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 2.96%)

- Nursing homes: 5,162 rapid antigen tests were performed, 63 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 1.22%)

- Closed facilities: 4,305 rapid antigen tests were performed, 40 new cases were identified (positivity rate 0.93%).
