The theft and violent death of animals in Lympia is denounced by the "Active Citizens-Movement of United Cypriot Hunters".
"Around midnight on October 19, offenders entered a licensed fenced hares farm in Lympia and after breaching the entrance, proceeded with the heinous act recorded in the video," a statement said.
"The owner of the kennel, the next day in the morning as he approached the site to feed the animals (hares), realized that the site had been breached. Rushing to the security cameras, he saw the fate that his hares had, that is, the offenders took them out of their cages and beat them on the floor furiously until they died with the ultimate goal of selling them. In addition to the issue of theft, the brutal way in which they killed hares proves their perverted and sick character and that they pose a danger to society."
The owner made a complaint to the Police, while the "Active Citizens-Movement of United Cypriot Hunters" asks that the Police investigate and solve the case immediately.
