Regarding the cash inflows of KEDIPES, they remain at high levels in the second quarter of 2022, with the company however reviewing the implementation of the Ledra project, which concerns the sale of a portfolio of performing loans. As announced yesterday, following a decision of the Board of Directors of KEDIPES, a payment of €60 million was made in September 2022. against state aid, increasing the total amount of repayment of state aid to €800 million. since the start of the works of KEDIPES in September 2018. The transfer of real estate to the State of €140 million is pending. approximately, which will increase the total repayment to €940 million. and will still owe €2.5 billion. out of a total of €3.5 billion state aid to be paid by 2028.
It has also repaid €245m. in liabilities of the former CCB and €82m. to the state in taxes. It is also noted that the future repayment of state aid is directly related to the possible extension of the works of KEDIPES for the acquisition of real estate, in the framework of the Mortgage to Rent plan (rent against instalment).
The staff costs of KEDIPES amount to a total of €67.3 million. until 30-6-2022, when the human resources amounted to 340 people, after the departure in the second quarter of 19 employees with a voluntary retirement plan. In relation to the Asset Protection Scheme, claims totalling €106.5 million have been submitted by Hellenic Bank to date for the period 1 September 2018 until 31 March 2022. KEDIPES has made total payments of €78.2 million. or 73% of the claims submitted to date.
