COVID VACCINATION - CENTRES CHANGE OPERATING HOURS

The opening hours of vaccination centres against COVID-19 are differentiated from Wednesday, October 19, 2022 to better serve citizens, the Ministry of Health said in an announcement.

Specifically, the walk-in vaccination centres in all districts, with the exception of the vaccination centres in Kyperounta and Polis Chrysochous, will operate from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Every Wednesday the Walk-in Vaccination Centers, excluding the vaccination centre in Polis Chrysochous, will operate from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The vaccination centre in Polis Chrysochous will be open every Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Vaccinations at this centre are arranged by telephone appointment.

The vaccination centre in Kyperounta will be open every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 to 2:30 p.m. It will be closed every Tuesday and Thursday. Vaccinations at this centre are arranged by telephone appointment.

The vaccination centres are for Nicosia the State Fair (tel. 22574320), for Larnaca the Old Larnaca Hospital (tel. 24818046, 24818047), for Limassol the Linopetra Health Centre (tel. 25804101), for Paphos the Paphos General Hospital (tel. 26803246, 26803270), for Famagusta the Famagusta Health Centre (tel. 23200063), for Kyperounta the Kyperounta Vaccination Centre (former SPE, Tel. 25813200, Monday and Friday 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. and Wednesday 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.) and for Polis Chrysochous the Polis Chrysochous Hospital (tel. 26821800, 26821872), every Tuesday 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.).

It is noted that receiving a booster dose of a vaccine against COVID-19 is optional.

The *Moderna vaccine (BA.1) is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The **Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine (BA.4 and BA.5) is available daily from Monday to Friday.

In order to carry out vaccination, an identification document (identity card, passport) and vaccination card, a License to Practice the Profession, from Health Professionals, a medical certificate (from a Personal or Specialist Doctor) for immunodeficient and immunocompromised patients, as well as from people with chronic severe disease or obesity must be presented.
