Hundreds of believers ascended in the afternoon to the site of the construction of the new church of St. Ephraim in the area of the Monastery of Agios Neophytos in Tala.
The attendees saw for the first time the new temple completed, while after the Thyranoxia they had the opportunity to enter and worship, in the impressive interior of the sacred space.
After the consecration and the Thyranoxia, vespers followed, during which the Abbot of the Monastery of Agios Neophytos, Bishop Leontios of Chytron, danced.
The massive presence of worshippers at the ceremony resulted in traffic jams in the wider area of the Monastery of Agios Neophytos, with a strong force of the Paphos Traffic Police being on the spot and regulating the traffic of hundreds of vehicles.
