In force as of today, September 5, is the afternoon work program in public hospitals, following the agreement reached between the SHSO and the doctors' and nurses' guilds on July 11.
A goal for the operation of hospitals and during the afternoon hours has been achieved, said the Spokesperson of the State Health Services Organization (SHSO) Charalambos Charilaou.
"People will be able to book their appointments with two options. The one option for those who are knowledgeable and have internet, is to be able to book their appointment through the website of the Organization, to make a request and within 48 hours an officer will contact them, where he will determine the day and time. The second option is from the phones that people already know," he added.
