The operation of the outpatient clinics with doctors of specialties at the Polis Chrysochous Hospital is welcomed by the Municipality of Polis Chrysochous.
According to an announcement by the Mayor of Polis Chrysochous Yiotis Papachristofi, in the context of their efforts and the relevant performances to the Ministry of Health and the SHSO for the upgrade of the services offered by the Polis Chrysochous Hospital to the residents of the wider area, the operation of the outpatient clinics with doctors of various specialties has been achieved since September 2022,
Specifically, an Orthopedic doctor is assigned with -starting 14/09/2022 and visiting the hospital every fortnight. Plastic Surgeon - starts 13/09/2022 and visit the hospital every fortnight. Gynaecologist with a visit to the hospital every fortnight, Ophthalmologist with a visit to the hospital every fortnight.
Also, Urologist will visit the hospital every fortnight and Psychiatrist with a visit to the hospital every first and last Tuesday of each month. In addition, Clinical Psychologist - every Friday, Occupational Therapist - every Thursday, Specialist Pathologist - every Tuesday, Physiotherapist - every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Cardiologist - daily.
Also, the Chemical Laboratory is open daily and in the afternoons until 8.30 p.m. and Saturday until 2.00 p.m., while the Radiology Department operates on a 24-hour basis.
Mr. Papachristofi expressed his thanks both to the Ministry of Health and to Minister Michalis Hatzipantelas himself, as well as to the State Health Services Organization for the implementation of their commitments and they are waiting for the implementation of their request for the reopening of the inpatient wards in the immediate future.
