The solution to the serious problem that European countries will face due to the energy restrictions imposed by the crisis with Russia, has been proposed by the recreation centres of Pafos. In an announcement, the Association of Paphos Recreation Centres (SIKAP) points out that it invites those responsible to promote Paphos here and now, and Cyprus in general, as the appropriate winter destination.
British, Germans and citizens of other states, whose countries face an energy problem, will be able to come here to spend a long time during the winter period, without problems and restrictions, the representatives of the industry emphasize. Mostly pensioners can spend the whole winter in Cyprus. To sublet the house in their homeland and rent an apartment or hotel in Cyprus, they point out characteristically.
"In Paphos and Cyprus in general, the weather is very good, sunny even during the winter season", the announcement emphasizes. " The temperatures are high, nothing to do with the severe winter of central Europe.
For these reasons, we are an ideal winter tourist destination but also the place where European citizens will be able to pass time away from the energy crisis that has hit European countries. Away from the harsh winter that is approaching."
We call on the Ministry of Tourism and all competent bodies to proceed with the relevant actions, so that more Europeans can come to Cyprus this winter, says SIKAP.
