An uproar was caused Monday night at the Lakes Shelter in Menogeia when migrants from Nigeria set fire to tents. Members of the Police and the fire department rushed to the scene, which extinguished the fire before it spread to other tents.
According to information from police sources, the migrants have signed their voluntary repatriation and are expected to return to their country in the coming days. The tension arose when they insisted on being informed when their repatriation flights would be.
It is noted that this is the second time in a few twenty-four hours that there is tension for this reason at the Hospitality Centre Limnes in Menogeia.
A police force is stationed at the site to prevent new incidents.
