As part of the annual military cooperation program between Cyprus and Israel, exercise "IASON - 2022" was successfully carried out from 12 to 13 September 2022.
The Exercise took place within the Nicosia FIR, with the participation of land and air assets of the National Guard of the Republic of Cyprus and the Israeli Armed Forces.
In this activity, the personnel of the National Guard and the Israeli Air Force were trained, while at the same time the exchange of knowledge and know-how in the field of tactical air operations and Air Defence was promoted.
At the same time, this activity contributes to the increase of mutually beneficial operational capabilities, enhances interoperability and demonstrates, in practice, the excellent cooperation between the respective Armed Forces.
