What applies to four-legged visitors - Laws and regulations to enjoy your walk with your beloved pet undisturbed
The management of Ayia Napa Marina, in the context of serving its visitors and customers and respecting the animals, informs that it applies the appropriate regulations and best practices regarding the entry of animals into the marina premises. Therefore, the following applies to the premises and facilities of the Marina:
Within the common areas of the public zone and the commercial zone, only pets (dogs and cats) are allowed. In the areas of commercial stores (indoors and outdoors, depending on the case) prohibitions or restrictions may apply depending on the regulations of each business operating there.
Any pet animal entering the Permitted Areas is required to be accompanied by its owner or by a person who has a written authorization from its owner. It must also be under constant surveillance, carry a leash, in case its weight is more than six kilograms, and a muzzle, in the event that, at the reasonable discretion of its owner, it has aggressive tendencies. He also meets all the requirements of the applicable preventive health measures for diseases and infections that may spread due to his movement within the Marina. Pets are not allowed on the west beach of Marina.
From the above are excluded the accompanying dogs that accompany people with disabilities within the marina premises.
Each person accompanying a pet within the Marina's premises bears the sole responsibility for the cleanliness of the premises by collecting and throwing into baskets any impurities of the animals. He must also carry and be able to show, whenever requested by the entry control authorities, the health and / or veterinary authorities located within the Marina area, all the necessary supporting documents and / or health documents related to the pet, including the passport and the health booklet. According to the current law, the owner and escort of the animal bears sole responsibility in case of injury or death of any visitor or other pet animal that may be caused by his own within the marina premises but also in case of damage to property of any visitor of the Marina. The company M.M. Makronisos Marina Limited is stressed that it bears no responsibility for any loss, damage, injury or death that may be caused by the entry and movement of a pet within the marina premises.
