While the crews are working intensively for the completion of the new ecclesiastical site, by the Monastery of Agios Neophytos in Tala, in the new church of Agios Megalomartyros Ephraim of Nea Makri, the crowd of believers who now want to see the church completed is increasing.
More and more believers who take their walk to the Monastery of Agios Neophytos make a stop at the point of construction of the church of St. Ephraim, a few metres earlier, in order to pray, to leave flowers or icons of the saint and to light a candle in the small worship area that has been created by the faithful at the site of the construction of the regular church.
As far as the construction works are concerned, the building has now been moulded externally and the crews are currently working mainly inside and in the large dome.
The church of St. Ephraim is erected on a piece of land granted by the Monastery of Agios Neophytos and which is located close to the monastery, on the main road from Tremithousa and Tala to the Monastery of Agios Neophytos.
