The construction of a modern bridge in Diarizos that will connect Mamonia with Archimandrita, costing €450,000, was announced by the District Officer of Paphos Mary Lambrou.
In her address at an event in Mamonia, Ms. Lambrou said that the construction of the modern bridge will serve farmers and residents for safe movement, adding that the studies have already been completed and at this stage consultation with the Department of Environment is taking place.
"A project is also being promoted to beautify the enclosure of community buildings at a cost of €70,000," she stressed, "and as soon as the projects mature, they will be proposed in the next annual State Budgets."
The District Officer of Pafos pointed out that within the framework of the state budget of 2022, infrastructure projects are being promoted with improvement of roads, the responsibility of the District Administration, as well as repairs on the Archimandrita-Mamonia road with a total provision of expenditure of €57,000.
