After the delay in the planning caused by the pandemic, a pioneering initiative of communities in the area of Ezousa and the luxurious resort of Minthis, which is located in the same area and which provides for their partnership for common tourist promotion and promotion of its unique natural beauties, since it is one of the most important ecosystems of Cyprus, is slowly beginning to come to the fore again.
Although the first steps have already been taken, however, the pandemic that arose from 2020 has also caused in this planning insurmountable problems so far, with local bodies estimating that now that conditions allow it, planning will be accelerated again.
This pioneering plan of the authorities of Tsada, Episkopi, Kallepeia and Minthis provides for the creation of a "coalition" with the aim of promoting them in the international arena, but also within Cyprus, along the lines of the initiative already announced by the Deputy Ministry of Tourism for the area of Chrysochous and Tillyria.
The authorities of the communities and the tourist project promote the common promotion of the semi-mountainous area, as a single space, in order to highlight the advantages for the visitor from his transition to the specific area of the District of Paphos. In particular, it is emphasized that Episkopi can promote the model Centre for Environmental Information and its unique rock reminiscent of Meteora, Kallepeia its folklore museum, Tsada the museum for the hero Evagoras Pallikaridis, while the facilities of Minthis are already one of the most important projects of luxury tourist development on a pan-European scale.
As a first measure for the joint promotion of the communities and the golf area of Minthi, under consideration is the publication of a leaflet that analyzes the specific sights and other advantages of this semi-mountainous area of Pafos.
