The innovative mobile application PetPins was created by a group of young people, with which each animal lover will be able to find information about services, shops and pet friendly areas, up to and including warnings about poisoned areas.
The app is available on Google Play & App Store, one of the app's creators, Marios Lemoniatis, told ACTIVE, explaining that the goal is to enable the user to feed information about strays or even interest in adopting a four-legged, promote the provision of services or products or even network with other pet owners who want the best for their own quadruped.
"The idea was created through the realization that the number of strays in Cyprus is increasing or pets are being lost and their owners find it difficult to find them. We noticed that social media is widely used, on which a post can be lost if not seen at the moment. Our application sends notifications if a four-legged is lost or found and immediately all users of the specific area receive the same message", Marios Lemonatis said, explaining that this is how the idea began, in order to create the application.
