The completion of the mural "Surround", by the internationally renowned Italian artist Millo in Geroskipou, is already gaining pan-European publicity in the circles of street artists and artists in general.
This is the project he created in Geroskipou and specifically in the tower of the Water Department, on the theme of the goddess Aphrodite and which adorns the new park "Andreas Stylianidis" created in the Municipality as an offer to the community by the company KorantinaHomes.
The impressive creation of the famous artist and the peculiarity created by the tower that dominates the park, have contributed to the work already receiving an ever-increasing publicity and as a result the park itself, but also Paphos as a place in which Milo has been creating in recent years.
Referring to his latest work, he points out that "surrounded by water to the island that hosts it, there is a female figure looking ahead, as all lives pass through her hands".
This is a tribute to the figure of the goddess Aphrodite with the desire to emphasize the role and importance of water, the real protagonist, not only in the fresco, but throughout Cyprus, which is located in such a unique location in the Mediterranean Sea, but is still fighting against the most dramatic water shortages in Europe, says Millo, describing his work.
