The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces the holding of an electronic draw for the Grant Scheme for the Purchase of Protective Equipment for Motorcyclists due to a greater than the predetermined number of applications (2629).
Out of the 2629 applications, 153 categorized in low power motorcycles (with an application number starting from X.) will receive direct approval, i.e. licensees of A1 category for Motorcycles with a maximum cylinder capacity of 125 cubic centimetres, with a maximum power of 11 kW.
While 2476 High Power applicants will be drawn for 547 available sponsorships (based on available budget) to the interested parties with an application number starting with Y. and for licensees of type A and A2, ie for motorcycles with a higher power than 11 kw.
The call will take place on 25/07/22 day Monday at 13:00 and will be broadcast live on the official Facebook account of the Ministry.
The lucky applicants will be informed electronically (email) which they have registered in the application. Both pre-approved and runners-up will be published on www.motosafety.gov.cy website.
