Double tragedy in Stroumpi, Paphos district this afternoon: The agricultural work of two co-villages turned into a mourning for their loved ones, when under conditions being investigated by the Police and other competent authorities, the harvester with which they worked in a field in a rural location of Stroumpi, overturned and engulfed them.
The two men died a terrible death and strong forces of the Police, the Fire Brigade and a medical team rushed to the scene by ambulance in order to achieve their release.
Unfortunately, however, it was too late, since the two workers passed away under the heavy machine. A coroner was also called to the scene to carry out the legalized autopsy, while the exact causes of death will be formalized after the autopsy that will be carried out on the bodies of the unfortunate men.
In the area, the investigation work of the competent authorities is also underway for the causes that caused the overturning of the harvester and the horrific death of the two inhabitants of Stroumpi.
