Another big step for the implementation of the project of the establishment of the School of Tourism, Hospitality and Entrepreneurship Management of the Cyprus University of Technology, in Paphos is taking place in the coming days. The President of the Republic will lay the foundation stone of the works for the buildings of CUT on July 13 at 7.30pm.

The arrival of President Anastasiades in Paphos takes place a few days after the award of the tender that had been announced through an Open Tender for the construction of the school's building facilities. The municipal authority has awarded the project to a specific company in Paphos for an amount of about  €14 million, an amount  30% above the pre-estimate of expenditure.

The buildings of cut in Paphos will be erected on the block allocated for this purpose by the Municipality, in the framework of the Agreement signed with the CUT last November in the area of the church of Panagia Pantanassa and in which the new Municipal Mansion that began to be built by the municipal authority had remained unfinished since 2014. The estimated estimate of expenditure for the CUT projects in Paphos amounted to approximately  €11 million.

The Project is expected to be co-funded by the European Union under the "THALEIA" Program 2021-2027.
