Within the framework of the efforts of ETAP Paphos for the continuous upgrade of the services offered on the beaches, only recently completed the second phase of upgrading the furnishings and operation of beaches in communities in the areas of Chrysochous and Tylliria. This phase included the replacement of sunbeds and umbrellas with equipment that is environmentally friendly and consistent with the surrounding area, installation of waste and recycling bins in some cases, installation of beach bells.
In the third phase, other interventions are expected both for the safety of bathers, accessibility to the beaches, the protection of the environment, information on flora and fauna, as well as for the provision of services where appropriate for the best possible organization and operation of the beaches.
Now foreign and local visitors as well as permanent residents of the areas can enjoy beaches, upgraded aesthetically and functionally while swimming in the cleanest waters of Europe.
