Latin music lovers, you’re in luck! Yemaya Son Cuarteto is back to play a live gig in the Paphos area after more than a year and we couldn’t be more excited for this summer party at the fresh venue called Grill’n’Groove in Peyia!
YEMAYA SON are an authentic 4-piece band formed in Limassol in 2017, who play a range of Cuban music including "Son" from the 40s and 50s, as popularised by Buena Vista Social Club, through to modern day hot Timba and Salsa with a serious groove!
Their obvious love for the music they play is evident in the passionate and exuberant arrangements of Cuban songs both classic and modern.
Yemaya Son is formed by four professional musicians, all of them with long experience from stages all around the world:

* Alejandro Salazar (Cuba) - Drums, percussions and vocals
* Alex Rodriguez (Colombia) - Keyboards and vocals
* Rodrigo Caceres (Chile) - Electric Bass and vocals

This time they’ll play with a guest drummer Andreas Stefanou, a well known and talented musician of this charismatic island.
The four well-experienced musicians together interpret classic Cuban repertoire and general latin music (rumba, son, cha-cha, bolero, bachata, merengue, timba) creating a wildly uplifting atmosphere!
