The Cyprus College of Art is pleased to invite you to the group exhibition titled What Remains.
Drawing on the form, light and line of the land, six artists from Turps Art School share their findings and engagement with the rich history and flora and fauna of Cyprus.
Evocating the depth of archaeological time, they explore the traces of civilisations over millennia and reflecting it through their own artists practices.
The six artists have been selected for a 32-day Residency at the Cyprus College of Art a funded placement by Grampus Heritage an Erasmus+ partner.
The Cyprus College of Art has been running these placements in partnership with Grampus Heritage for the past 20 years bringing artists from various stages of their career to explore and create a new body of work that can be developed further within their own practices.
The program is led by the Director of the Cyprus College of Art, Margaret Paraskos and we are pleased to have the Director of the Grampus Heritage Martin David Clark inaugurating the exhibition.
