The Paphos Region Tourism Development and Promotion Company (ETAP), continuing its efforts to upgrade the tourist experience and implement actions that contribute to the transformation of the District of Paphos into a smart destination, expands the digitization of information and the installation of smart signs in various points of interest in the province.
Speaking to "F", the President of the Paphos Etap, Kyriakos Droussiotis, stressed that these "smart" signs are made of environmentally friendly materials, are discreet in size and are connected via the internet where an innovative, rich, smart and interactive information is provided to visitors.
The visitor, after initially scanning the QR code, can choose from his smart device the language of his choice, while he is offered a wide range of information options from simple description, rich photographic material, audio tour to video, 360º tour, and more, he stressed.
"Etap Paphos is completing the production of material with the aim of making it possible in the near future to place other, additional signs in various areas and points of interest of the Pafos district", concluded Kyriakos Droussiotis. "The whole effort is supported by the Deputy Ministry of Tourism".
