Since yesterday, the dermatology clinic of Pafos Hospital has been closed, causing intense problems and concern to officials, as well as a large number of puffy patients. As "F" reveals, the closure of the clinic follows the lack of medical staff in recent times, since only one doctor remained in the dermatology clinic.
The information was confirmed by the MP of Pafos of DIKO, Chrysanthos Savvidis, who mentioned that on this important issue he informed yesterday the president of the PIS, who in turn made representations to the management of the Cyprus Health Service and the Pafos Hospital.
"The closure of the clinic," Chrysanthos Savvidis said, "occurred when the only doctor who had been employed there recently asked for unpaid leave. This is an unacceptable situation, it is inconceivable that those responsible are letting the situation go to the closure of clinics before they can then look for solutions."
