A problem in the electricity supply occurs in several areas nationwide from 09:30 in the morning.
According to EAC spokeswoman Christina Papadopoulou, a breakdown occurred in a production unit in Vassilikos while crews are at the scene to repair the problem.
As Mrs Papadopoulou pointed out, several areas all over Cyprus were affected and as a result they were left without electricity.
