The Tourism Development and Promotion Company of the Pafos Region is expanding the digitization of information and the installation of smart signs.
Just recently, within the framework of cooperation between the Pafos ETAP and the Department of Antiquities, smart QR Codes tablets have been placed in the area of the Tombs of the Kings, in Panagia Chrysopolitissa, Panagia Limeniotissa and in the Medieval Castle of Pafos.
These "smart" signs are made of environmentally friendly materials, are discreet in size and are connected via the internet where visitors are provided with an innovative, rich, intelligent and interactive information.
The visitor after initially scanning the QR code can choose from his smart device the language of his choice, while he is offered a wide range of information options such as simple description, rich photographic material, audio tour, video, 360º tour, etc.
At the same time, ETAP is expanding the smart app of the park with the inclusion of audiovisual material for the above points of interest.
The Department of Antiquities of Pafos would like to warmly thank the Department of Antiquities for its excellent cooperation and affirms the continuation of the effort to digitize information and expand the use of technologies for the more effective promotion of the archaeological wealth and points of interest of the entire province.
