Sixteen artists from Cyprus have joined forces to take part in a charity exhibition that opens this month titled Make Art, Not War. Supported by the embassy of Germany, the art showcase takes place to express solidarity with Ukraine and help Ukrainian refugees arriving in Cyprus.
The exhibition will open on June 16 at 10.10 Hall the Art House in Nicosia and will run until June 24. All proceeds raised from the exhibition will be donated to the initiative CY4UA which was established shortly after the outbreak of the war in Ukraine and has been supporting Ukrainian refugees arriving on the island since.
Participating in the exhibition are the artists: Andreas Makariou, Anna Privaloff, Andreas Paraskeva, Anna Varella, Andreas Nicolaou, Anna Reznikova, Cristina Countas, Irina Sigitova, Katie Sabry, Louis Yiannapis, Ludmila Budanov, Maria Michael, Marios Varellas, Nicholas Ladommatos, Pambos Charalambous, Tat Rosso.
