A 27-year-old man who was kidnapped and robbed in Paphos is being treated at Paphos Hospital.
Around one o'clock today at dawn, information was received by the Police about an injured person in the first aid of Paphos General Hospital.
Examinations that followed revealed that this is a 27-year-old tourist, who was in a state of intoxication and according to whom, at a time and place that he could not identify, four persons put him in a car and transported him to an unknown location, where he was beaten and extorted from him various personal belongings and a sum of money.
It was found by the attending physicians that the 27-year-old carries a contusive wound to the head and arm and was held for further hospitalization in the surgical ward.
The Pafos ICF is investigating the case.
