Nearly 25,000 citizens were vaccinated with the fourth dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
Speaking on state radio, the deputy director of nursing services, Evagoras Tambouris, also said that in the first half of June, the first dose of the vaccine was administered to 200 citizens.
A total of 75% of the population received the first dose of the vaccine, while the fully vaccinated make up 73.6%.
Mr. Tambouris noted that the Ministry of Health is following the instructions of the European Union and a further reduction of the age limit for the fourth dose of the vaccine for Covid-19 is not excluded.
