A protest event is planned by the Community Council of Inia on Saturday, June 25 in Paphos. The decision was taken at an extraordinary session of the body which decided that the protest would take place in central Kennedy Square at 10.30 a.m.
According to the decisions, the gathering will follow a march in the square of the Municipal Hall of Paphos, where at 11:00 a.m. there will also be a protest by environmental bodies against the attempted development in Akamas.
"The presence of all is absolutely necessary as never before", states the announcement of K.S. Inias. "All landowners must give a pulse and a strong message to those who decide on our properties and the future of our children. Let's finally put above all the hot topic of the Akamas that has plagued us for 33 years."
Inia invites the other communities and the Municipalities of Polis Chrysochous and Pegeia to support and support its demands.
