One thing to look forward to this summer is evenings filled with music. Besides performances from local musicians and Greek singers comes a highly-anticipated concert by a world-renowned German rock band. The Scorpions are set to perform at Tsirio Stadium this July 12.
Their stop in Cyprus is part of their anniversary tour as the band celebrates 50 years since the release of their first album and simultaneously introduces their new album Rock Believer.
In Cyprus they will share the stage with local pop rockers Minus One. Soon after, the Rock Believer tour will cross the Atlantic again to the USA and Canada, with a completion date set in the summer of 2023.
The news of their return to Cyprus for a one-night-only show was well-received as some section tickets are already sold-out. “The huge anticipation of thousands of fans of the legendary Scorpions to watch live-onstage one of the most important rock bands of the last decades,” say the organisers, “translates into the huge demand and gradual exhaustion of available tickets for the big concert at Tsirio stadium.
Already the Early Bird Tickets worth €35 for the Standing Arena have sold out, and only a few are currently available for the Standing GOLD Arena, which will be located in front of the impressive stage and in close proximity to Matthias Jabs, Rudolf Schenker, Klaus Meine, Pawel Maciwoda and Mikkey Dee.”
