The issue of the creation of an over-ground crossing on Tassos Papadopoulos Avenue in Paphos is now on the agenda of the Parliament, after the visit of the Education Committee to Paphos yesterday. The issue was one of the main issues raised in the contacts of the parliamentary committee, while both its chairman, Pavlos Mylonas, and the vice-president, Chrysanthos Savvidis, pointed out that the creation of the crossing is more than imperative, which is why the issue will now be raised as a matter of priority by the competent committee.
Chrysanthos Savvidis also pointed out that the stagnation observed for several years in the creation of this project had cost the life of an innocent student two years ago.
"This time we should act as a supplier and not as an indictment by mourning other victims," he stresses. "The complaints I receive all the time come from both parents and businessmen operating in the area."
