Confirming for yet another year the excellent quality of its marine waters and the also excellent infrastructure on its coasts, the District of Pafos will post this summer in a total of 18 beaches of municipalities and communities the Blue Flags, symbol of quality of sea waters and infrastructure.
As the local authorities have been informed by the National Judge about the award of the distinction, in the summer of 2022 the Blue Flag will be waved on the beaches of the Municipality of Pafos municipal - Vrysouthkia A, Vrysouthkia B, Alykes, Pachyamos and Faros. In the neighbouring Municipality of Geroskipou, on the Municipal Beach, the Popular Beach and Pachyammos 1.
In the Municipality of Pegeia with a Blue Flag will this year be the Gulf of Coral, the beach kafizi and Laourou, while in the Municipality of Polis the Municipal Beach and the beach Dasoudi.
In the community of Lempa the relevant distinction will have this year the beach Kotsias and in Neo Chorio the beaches Souli, Xystarokampos and Halavro.
