In a statement, Maria Kouroupi, Senior Director of Aviation Development and Communication at Hermes Airports, said: "Undoubtedly, the country's connectivity remains at the heart of our strategy. We are working with all the airlines to fully restore, but also to further develop their network to the levels they operated before - coronavirus. This year's flight schedule confirms the confidence shown by airlines in Cyprus as a destination, since their flight schedules for existing and new routes have been largely restored. The efforts made in previous years to diversify the program by expanding to other markets have come to fruition. More than ever before, it is important for the entire tourism industry to seize these opportunities and support demand in order to build a strong foundation for the future."
