A questionnaire is sent by the Ministry of Health to people who have been ill during the period 1 January 2022 to 31 March 2022 for the purpose of collecting important data on the place of transmission of the virus in the community.
According to the Ministry's announcement, these data, along with the results collected by telephone by telephone by the tracing team of the Ministry of Health, will be analyzed and then forwarded to the National Scientific Advisory Committee of COVID-19, the Medical Services as well as the Public Health Services, in order to determine the future measures to be implemented in the Republic of Cyprus.
The questionnaire has been prepared by the Tracing Team of the Ministry of Health, on behalf of the Unit of Epidemiological Surveillance and Control of Infectious Diseases of the Medical services and public health services.
The participation of citizens in the research is voluntary, free and anonymous, while the research has been approved by all competent bodies (National Committee for Bioethics, Scientific Committee for the Promotion of Research of the Ministry of Health). The deadline for submission is Sunday, May 8.
