A group of leading artists of various nationalities have come together to hold an exhibition in Nicosia to show their support for the people of Ukraine and raise funds for those who currently find themselves in Cyprus.

The exhibition is the brainchild of the international artist Ludmila Budanov, whose own mother was Ukrainian, who has lived in Limassol for over 20 years. Money raised will help Cyprus for Ukraine, a charity assisting Ukrainians now living in Cyprus.

“I decided it was better for artists of different nationalities to show solidarity with the Ukrainian people,” Ludmila said. All the artists in the exhibition will donate 50 per cent of the sale price of any artworks sold directly to the charity.

The exhibition will open on June 16 at the 1010 Hall in the old town of Nicosia.

The artists in the exhibition include Andreas Makariou, Anna Privaloff, Andreas Paraskeva, Anna Varella, Andreas Nicolaou, Anna Reznikova, Cristina Countas, Irina Sigitova, Katie Sabry, Louis Yiannapis, Ludmila Budanov, Maria Michael, Marios Varellas, Nicolas Ladommatos, Pambos Charalambos and Tat Rosso.
