The "Holiday Money Report 2022" survey, which is published every year by the Post Office Travel Money, strongly recommends to the British Cyprus as an ideal destination and one of the best choices in terms of value for money.
The long-awaited "Holiday Money Report 2022", which examines the estimated cost of British holidays, seems to give another vote of confidence to our country.
Cyprus appears in the top3 of the countries that offer the best value for money. According to the Post Office Travel Money, prices have fallen significantly in Cyprus compared to 2021, with the largest price decrease recorded in Paphos (15.2%).
In the first place is Marmaras in Turkey and in the second place is Corfu in Greece.
Indicatively, it is estimated that in our country the average tourist will now pay much less money compared to last year for basic items and basic services from coffee, soft drink, drink and meal to ... sunscreen.
The survey was based on answers given by travellers about the experience they had on their recent trips abroad, thus highlighting the destinations that offer the best value for money.
Apart from our country, it seems that, among others, Spain and Portugal are some more of the favourite destinations highlighted by British travellers.
In any case, despite the international challenges, but also the fall of sterling, it seems that the British are determined to take their holidays again this year. In fact, according to the survey, 53% plan holidays abroad, compared to 43% in 2021.
