** The Forestry Department have advised that it is too soon to plant the 'fire damaged' area in Kamares. Therefore The Green Shield will be planting the area above the Monastery in Tala. If you wish to attend, please go to the Monastery and there will be signs to direct you 'Πρασινας Ασπιδας'.
If you wish to support the planting financially, if you go onto the website mentioned above, and go to Shop, you can order trees for planting on 3 April. Alternatively you can arrange a yearly subscription of €50 which will give you automatically 5 trees per year for planting.
