Yellow warning issued by the Department of Meteorology.
According to the warning, very strong to strong south-westerly winds to westerly winds of intensity 6-7 Beaufort, are expected to affect intermittently some areas of the mountainous and inland.
At the same time, winds of the same direction of windy intensity 8 Beaufort, with gusts locally up to 9 Beaufort, will intermittently affect the north and south coasts.
The warning will be in effect from 23:00 in the evening until 15:00 noon on Thursday.
