Two arrests made on Sunday night by the Police, are estimated to solve the crimes for the continuous armed robberies of the last period in Paphos. Following testimony and processing of evidence and CCTV footage, the Pafos Police proceeded to the arrest of two Cypriots, 26 years old, as suspected of participating in the five armed robberies at Paphos kiosks in the last 15 days.
Already questioned, one of the two admitted his involvement in some of these robberies, while the authorities believe that the second arrested person is involved in addition to the robberies in other cases that concern the authorities, such as the burglary and theft from a pharmacy in the area of Chrysochous, the arson of a vehicle and others.
The two were detained at the Pafos Police Department and today they will be brought before the District Court for the issuance of detention orders.
