The Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance informs that the Law on the renaming of the Ministry of Labour, Welfare and Social Insurance has been published in the Official Gazette of the Republic, based on the provisions of which the Ministry is renamed the Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance.
It is recalled that since July 2021, the Deputy Ministry of Social Welfare has been established and by decisions of the Government, the Social Welfare Services have been placed under the responsibility of the Deputy Ministry since July 2021 and since January 2022 the Welfare Benefits Management Service.
Based on the above, any issues relating to social welfare benefits or benefits that are under the management of the Social Welfare Services or the Welfare Benefits Management Service, including any objections to benefits, must be submitted to the competent Deputy Minister and the competent Deputy Ministry, as the case may be. The main benefits and benefits they have together with the Welfare Benefits Management Service are transferred to the Deputy Ministry of Social Welfare include, among others:
- The Guaranteed Minimum Income,
- Child Benefit and Single Parent Allowance
- The Low Pensioners' Allowance
- Allowances to World War II veterans and veteran widows
