Russia's President Vladimir Putin's plans to invade Ukraine appear to have been betrayed by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, showing public maps where he appears to want to invade Moldova as well.
Specifically, during Lukashenko's meeting with his security council, the Belarusian president found himself in front of a map detailing Russia's battle plan in Ukraine and the plan to seize key cities.
It contains detailed lines of Aggression by Russia towards Ukraine, some of which were implemented in the early days of the invasion, such as the forces that invaded Kiev from the north and towards Kherson from Crimea.
But it also shows several attacks that have not yet taken place, with one even having as a base the port of Odessa aimed at Moldova, suggesting that Russia is planning to march troops in Ukraine's neighbour.
"We have strengthened security in the west and south of the country"
Belarus said today that it has strengthened security on its western and southern borders as Russia has invaded its neighbour Ukraine.
Belarusian leader Aleksandr Lukashenko said yesterday that his country has no plans to participate in the Russian military operation in Ukraine and rejected Kiev's claims that Russian soldiers are launching attacks on Ukraine from Belarusian territory.
