The Ministry of Health on Wednesday announced 3,714 cases of COVID and 119 hospitalized with the positivity rate at 4.43%.
No deaths were announced and the total number of deaths with the final cause of COVID-19 remains at 904. The number of cases stands at 363,792.
Of the 119 patients, 22 are in serious condition. Specifically, one person is off the ventilator in the Intensive Care Unit, 5 people are intubated in an ICU and 16 are in an Increased Care Unit.
According to the data, 60.51% of hospitalized patients are without a history of vaccination.
In addition, 22 patients who have ceased to be infectious continue to be hospitalized intubated due to COVID in an Intensive Care Unit.
Today, a total of 83,857 diagnostic tests were performed and 3,714 new cases were identified, the positivity rate in all tests being 4.43%.
The total number of molecular tests (PCR) was 3,630 and 337 positive cases emerged, with a positivity rate of 9.28%, while the total number of Rapid Antigen Tests (Rapid Test) was 80,227 and 3,377 positive cases emerged, with a positivity rate of 4.21%.
As part of the tracing, 428 molecular tests were performed and 43 positive cases were identified (positivity rate of 10.05%), while 906 rapid antigen tests were also performed and 103 positive cases were identified (positivity rate of 11.37%)
From a private initiative, 1,488 molecular tests were performed and 220 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 14.78%), while 37,931 rapid antigen tests were performed and 1,991 positive cases were identified (positivity rate of 5.25%).
Through the programs of the Ministry of Health, 42,296 rapid antigen tests were performed and 1,386 positive cases were identified.
At the sampling points, 21,203 rapid screening tests were performed and 1,078 positive cases were identified, with a positivity rate of 5.08%.
In Secondary Education, 11,330 rapid detection tests were performed and 89 positive cases were identified, with a positivity rate of 0.79%, while since the implementation of the test to stay measure, 4,974 tests for rapid antigen detection were performed and 62 positive cases were identified, with a positivity rate of 1.25%.
In addition, 1,274 rapid antigen tests were performed in nursing homes and 45 positive cases were identified (positivity rate of 3.53%), while in closed facilities, 2,241 rapid antigen tests were performed and 4 new cases were identified (positivity rate of 0.18%).
In Government Services, 132 rapid antigen tests were performed and 1 positive case was detected (positivity rate of 0.76%), while in industrial areas 236 rapid antigen tests were performed and 4 positive cases were identified (positivity rate of 1.69%).
