Open, however only for vehicles with four-wheel drive or equipped with snow chains, are the roads leading to Troodos, as well as other roads in the mountainous areas of Limassol and Morphou, around 10.00 before noon on Friday.
The streets Platres-Troodos, Karvounas-Troodos and Prodromos-Troodos, which in the morning remained closed to all vehicles, with the improvement of weather conditions, have now been given to traffic, but only for vehicles with four-wheel drive or equipped with snow chains.
Open only for vehicles with four-wheel drive or equipped with snow chains, the roads Pedoulas-Prodromos, Pedoulas-Pine Wood-Kakopetria and Papoutsas-Agios Theodoros remain open.
The Police recommend special attention to those who move on the road network of the mountainous areas, while vehicle drivers are urged to move at a safe, low speed, maintain a safe distance from vehicles in front, and give priority to other passing drivers where needed.
