The Ministry of Health reminds the eligible citizens to receive the self-testing for COVID-19 (self-test).
Beneficiaries are those citizens who have completed their vaccination program with two doses for the dosing vaccines and one dose for the single-dose vaccine or received the booster/3rd dose of vaccine and are also beneficiaries of the GHS, as well as children up to 17 years of age who received at least one dose of vaccine and the period required to receive the 2nd dose has not passed.
a) GHS beneficiaries may receive self-tests from GHS-contracted pharmacies upon presentation of proof of identification.
- The package includes five self-tests and citizens will have the opportunity voluntarily to conduct the test to determine if they are positive for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
- In case of a positive result, citizens should contact their Personal Doctor to refer them for PCR examination to the Public Health Clinics of their province of residence.
b) Citizens who are not GHS beneficiaries, but have completed their vaccination scheme in Cyprus, or have completed their vaccination program in another European country and are beneficiaries of the GHS, can receive the package containing the five self-tests from the following points:

In case of a positive result, citizens should contact the Coordination Center for Public Health Clinics at the email: coordination.iatreiadygeias@moh.gov.cy by sending their identification details (name, surname, phone number, ID number, date of birth and province), as well as a photo of their positive self-test.
